Help Finish the Music and Memory Documentary

In late April I met with Dan Cohen about his Music and Memory project to put iPods with personalized playlists in nursing homes.  It was well underway, and he was looking for like-minded people to share the news.  He had learned about the LOVE, LOSS, AND LAUGHTER book that had just been published, and about the exhibit at Pace.  We had a delightful meeting, also attended by Susan Ball from the Rubin Foundation. I posted news about Dan's project and about a screening of the film ALIVE INSIDE that was scheduled for the following week.

That weekend a clip from the film went viral on the internet.  By the time I attended the Friday screening the next week, more than 6 million people had seen the clip!

I was one of the lucky few to see the whole film. It is a lovely and moving film.  I can't wait for the finished version to be shown around the country.

Today I learned that Michael Rossato-Bennett's Kickstarter project to raise the funds needed to complete the film has 4 days to go. I've pledged some support.  Please check out this site and help them get the remaining money needed by pledging whatever amount is comfortable for you.  You will be proud to be connected to this project.
