Article in the Cure Alzheimer's Fund Newsletter

It's nice to see that media publicity for Love, Loss, and Laughter continues. This month there is an article in the latest edition of the Cure Alzheimer's Fund newsletter. The link to the article is  http://www.curealzfund.org/sites/default/files/documents/2012_Q2Report_R6_web.pdf . If you don't know the history of how I came to be a photographer, how I faced my fears about Alzheimer's and how the book came about, this article delves into those topics.

I heard about the Cure Alzheimer's Fund from a physician who told me, “you need to get in touch with my husband’s aunt, Phyllis Rappaport,” one of the co-founders of Cure Alzheimer’s Fund. So I did and that’s how I first learned about the organization and their mission to find a cure for the disease.

There will be an exhibit of photographs from Love, Loss, and Laughter: Seeing Alzheimer's Differently at the  Cure Alzheimer's Fund Symposium in Boston, October 10, 2012 (the event is free, but registration is required). If you are in the Boston vicinity, I hope you will stop by and say "hello."
