Bob DeMarco so often has his finger on the simplest and most important components of care, expressed with clarity. Here, less than a week after the passing of his beloved other, Dotty, Bob is back offering insights to new readers of his ALZHEIMER'S READING ROOM with his article entitled Alzheimer's Caregiving: Mind Over Matter Leads to Happiness.

Bob is an extraordinary source of insight, interpretation and guidance to action. He is the only person I invited to contribute text to Love, Loss, and Laughter whom I had not met in person, but his words so fully reflected the message of my photos that I wanted his contributions in my book. These people were smiling and then I photographed them.... I didn't ask them to smile for the camera....
